It's like a Hallmark card for expressing your supposedly deep personality without having to write it in your Xanga journal or deal with it yourself artistically, because hey, you can just crank it and shout the lyrics along much to everyone else's disdain.

...and there's MY vote for best post.

Glee was more on the bandwagon though. I think Family Guy started the trend of people drunk singing it during karaoke, because that's been going ridiculously strong.

I repeat this statement. THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS!!

"Don't Stop Believing" has been getting a lot of air time again, and it's driving me insane. I used to love this song and it might as well be dead to me. Holy fuck.

I'm sick of hearing Friday by Jessica Black. The song was funny when it first came out...but now everybody overdoes it.

And the Glee thing is too true. Don't get me wrong, I would probably go gay for Darren Criss, but hearing all of those songs over and over again make me want to kill myself. It doesn't help when you have a 15 year old sister who wants to do nothing BUT blast Glee all night long.

I seriously fucking groaned when Axis of Awesome said "Don't Stop Believing" was by Journey "and the cast of Glee" in their new music video.

Anyway... "Friday." It went viral because the internet hates teenage girls, loves tearing their self-esteems to shit, and they are responsible for her thinking she's amazing with how many views her shitty song got, just like they made Rick Astley think his career was going through a renaissance.

Pretty much anything by Rihanna at this point. Taylor Swift too.

So sick of "I Knew You Were Trouble" getting played everywhere.

Lots of girls famous for their shitty relationships.

FUCK RIHANNA!!!

We had our iPod privileges stripped away from us at work a few months back, but one of our new bosses came in and setup a global Pandora account for everyone in the back end, so we pick an artist per week and go for there. Outside of metal or old hair glam stuff, I'm pretty ignorant to everything... but that's how bad and repetitive some of this shit has become already. Rihanna, Drake, whoever uses auto-tune all the time, etc. My god the rap especially that gets played all the time is super grating.

So yeah, metal, to rock, to country, to opera, to oldies... it's quite a hilarious transition sometimes.

I find myself constantly amazed that people still use Pandora. I'd long since gone to Spotify and never looked back.

Other than the previous things that I mentioned in the previous post, there's not a lot that's been getting on my nerves lately.

Except maybe some of the stuff Stitch blasts off Spotify on the drive mix list he and I have. I'll put stuff on there that he'll remove within the hour, but then there'll be stuff in there for months that I get tired of the moment they start (Train's "50 Ways to Say Goodbye" and the occasional Lady Gaga song among them).

Yeah, definitely feeling this one. And I've only heard a cover... once.

It's been stuck in my head for weeks. I hate it. It's one ear-worn I wish would just die.

I LOVE Lindsey Sterling...but this isn't my favorite cover of hers. I actually really like this song, but their song "It's Time" is MUCH better, in my opinion. I also don't listen to the radio too often.

Except at work. They have the radio on and omg..."Blurred Lines" came on 10 times in my 9 hours there, three days in a row. The other two days it came on 6 times.

I like her a lot (though I like Peter Hollens more when they do videos together), but it's just... this song.

More so, I hate when singers feel the need to give these over-dramatic looks as though they're struggling or looking anguished reaching out to someone (referring to that Latino kid in the video). The lead (blonde guy) wasn't so bad. It's just over-acting while singing is a buzzkill for me (Scott Stapp is the emperor of the corny vocalists).

Anyway, "Radioactive." I finally buckled down and watched Imagine Dragons' video for it. I liked it a lot, actually. And the official song isn't near as irritating as the cover. Still, I could see why hearing it a lot could put anyone in a shitty mood.

I don't listen to the radio, either, but I think what's really wearing on my nerves are all the pop covers Stitch has been putting on our shared Spotify playlist that he plays when we're in the car together. Under protest, I sit through three different covers of "Bad Romance" and "Defying Gravitiy" from "Wicked."

The song was good at first. You hear it a few times and your cool with it. After the 20th time it's played you go deadpan. After 50.....your sick of it......

I think Ben's personality is rubbing off on me... it's like I am living out or pure spite. Waiting for that glorious day when they take that fucking song away.

... then I remember it will be replaced with something just as horrible.

I've only heard the song all the way through once, but I'm already sick of Lady Gaga's latest (s)hit, "Applause." They keep playing the fuck out of it in commercials right now.
