Anyone into this stuff? I've seen the 90's GTO which was pretty cool, then the first season of Liar Game which was fun. Now I am diving into the Korean stuff with Gu Family Book and wow, it's like Suikoden The TV Series. Two thumbs up. |

1 Litre of Tears was the only one I ever watched. I also cried like a baby.

"15-year-old Ikeuchi Aya is an ordinary girl, the daughter of a family who works at a tofu shop, and a soon-to-be high schooler. However, odd things have been happening to Aya lately. She has been falling down often and walks strange. Her mother, Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration - a terrible disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat."
I can see why... intense. |

There's definitely a reason why it has that particular title.

I've also started up GARO which seems like a bit more of a serious take on sentai/KR stuff.
The intro theme is pretty crazy lol. |

GARO always seemed pretty awesome. Do you recommend?

I'm only two episodes in... I am not sure what to say. The CGI is insanely... bad haha. But it doesn't bug me for some reason. I guess it's that or awkward sluggish body suit combat? It definitely seems pretty weird and out there. I'll push through, the newer ones look cooler.

I finished Gu now and am tackling the 81 episode monster Jumong, which apparently had an average rating of 40.0 and that's no typo. Super Bowl ratings? SK sure loves their historical drama!
Music is incredible too: |

Aside from Power Rangers when I was a kid, I haven't really come close to the genre. I tried watching the live action Sailor Moon... but it was just too... I dunno... weird?

Well, I'm looking forward to the "Attack on Titan" movie that's coming out.
And I was a huge fan of the "Death Note" films. But, yeah, I haven't really watched any live action shows based on anime/manga. Well, there WAS that "Sailor Moon" show. That thing was cheesy as hell. |

Cutie Honey the Live was awesome. I loved every bit of it.
