I tried playing the GTA V MMO once. Once. Everyone went out of their way to chase around my character and kill him. Yep, I totally wanted to be trolled by teens who do nothing but play the game all day and then call me a "fag."

I'm pretty guilty of playing FPSes since my favorite games these days are the "Fallout" series, and I've been playing "Bioshock" games, but games like "Shadow of the Colossus," "God of War," and "Katamari Damacy" still have my heart.

Hm.. remember when you were required to read terrible books about other young people?

I feel like it wasn't until high school when I started to get good reading lists (which by that point I'd lost interest in reading anything a teacher put in front of me).

What exactly do you mean by lists?

I've always sucked at self teaching / reading course books, haha.

@1sam234: Heck yeah, the Wii U rocks. Haters gonna hate.

You know.. book lists. The teacher tells you to do a book report and you have to read one of the ones off the list?

The required reading in elementary school was shit. Mostly books written in the '70s and '80s that were meant to be dramatic for young adults like Where The Red Fern Grows and Bridge to Tarabitihia. I'm sorry if other people liked these books, but holy crap did I hate them. There were many others that I can't even remember.

Around 6th grade, where I started getting books on Greek myths, I started liking the reading. Seventh grade, though still had some shit to wade through. Shabanu pisses me off so much. I liked The Giver, though. I'm happy they cast The Dude to be The Giver in the new movie at that. Fucking perfect.

Remember back to school shopping?

I felt invincible walking around with a backpack full of new office supplies.

Indeed. I have no idea who really gets credit with discovering that that parlor trick works, but I do remember seeing videos of kids fumbling with putting the Mentos into the bottles in a parking lot at night (or somewhere else) long before the "official" video came out.

Remember when your best friends were based solely on how you liked something stupid like "Saved By the Bell" or Barbies?

Oh yeah, I was so young back then.

Hey, remember when our government didn't consider corporations people? I miss those days!

Yes and no. Corporations still had all sorts of crazy privileges, but yeah, not to the extent that now they count as people who can give as much money as they want to politicians and force their religious standards on others.

Remember when you didn't suddenly hear the cat about to vomit and then pick them up and run around the house looking for somewhere you feel more comfortable having them throw up (rather than on your bed, on your laptop, etc)?

I just went through that moment of terror...

I laughed because I know that pain. The best part is trying to get to them without making them run under the bed or something. Lucky for me the kitchen is close and has linoleum floors.

Remember when Ringpops were cool?

I don't really know why that even came to mind... but what happened to those things? Do they even still make them? I know Pushpop is still out there.

Ringpops are definitely still out there. I've witnessed far too many proposals with them. Because, you know, EVERYONE'S original when they do that.

Yeah... I never really got the point of those. They just seemed creepy.

Remember when SyFy was Sci-Fi and they actually tried to produce good low-budget films now and then?
