Dishonored rocked! I still need to check out the DLC sometime.

Did you go good or bad?

I unintentionally had high chaos.

Spoiler:
Probably because I would kill guards, poisoned Slackjaw's supply and robbed the safe before giving him the combination, and assassinated Overseer Campbell and the Spymaster. I otherwise just neutralized the twins and Lady Boyle and killed Granny Rags, thus saving Slackjaw. So I got the rain and thunder ending and killed Samuel before he could tell them I was there. I also saved Emily, but now she's evil.

Apparently if I actively avoided killing people, things would have been nicer for me in the long run. Areas where I fought a fuckton of weepers would be safe zones, the ending would have been during a bright sunny day, and the main bad guys would be more "accepting" of the fact that I've come to kill them.

I really dug the game -- the look of it, how you can practically go anywhere and climb all over the place using Blink, how there are so many ways to get into places. I possessed a fish and got into the Golden Cat's women's bathroom swimming through a drain. It was AWESOME.

I've started a couple of the DLCs. The first was just a series of hard challenges and the second is the game from Daud's perspective. One of his powers is Blink, but he stops time while figuring out where he wants to land.

Haha, I had low chaos but it was definitely an effort. I went for a lot of the passive abilities. The see through walls one was kind of gamebreaking though, I think the next time I play it I won't use that.

The Daud DLC was the one that really interested me. Seemed like a cool idea.

I played on 360 so I imagine it looks even better on PC. I think it's one that will age very well since it has a cool art style going for it, not to mention the replay value will be really high because of how differently you can play the game and complete missions. The story got a little vague and I remember the ending being kind of WTF, but yeah it was a great game and I'm glad I think they're making a sequel supposedly.

It's funny, I usually strive to be good in games. My Fallout characters always have really high karma.

I guess I figured if I only killed people who were coming after me (still allows for having high karma in Fallout), I'd still have low chaos in "Dishonored." Nope. They want you to avoid killing at all costs.

Spoiler:
Does that mean that I also don't kill the assassins at the beginning or Daud when the time comes? What about when his assassins are trying to kill me when I'm after Daud?

It's pretty hard to make it through this game without killing people.

Still keeping up with it! Surpassed my number from last year I believe.

Bioshock has aged greatly. I replayed it a lot years back when it was newer, but this was my first time around going through the PC version which looks so much better honestly. It was a blast.

Going through Bioshock 2 now, love it! No idea why so many passed on this one...

Awesome! Really enjoyed it and I can easily say that I'm not a big fan of Uncharted. But I had always heard The Last of Us was pretty different and yeah, it was a lot more my style and just way more fun to me. The melee combat was pretty intense and awesome, reminded me a lot of Condemned... beating up insane druggies and homeless people.

I enjoyed the ending. Not quite what I expected, but it not being so cliche' is definitely what I liked about it.

I need someone to geek out on it with since Brandon wasn't there when I played it and I don't want to spoil it for him when he plays it himself.

But holy crap!

Spoiler:
It all comes back to Jack and the first game! I sort of expected that it was going to. I mean, they were in Rapture and all. It was trippy playing as Elizabeth. It was like trying to play "Dishonor" and get low chaos with all the running around and avoiding people and just using non-lethal methods of taking out splicers.

I think the biggest thing was that it finally explained why Jack's plane crashed, in that he opened the package and highjacked it.

It's just yet again I don't quite understand the different universes thing. Supposedly there's only one Elizabeth at the end of Infinite, so how did she die twice in Rapture? And she was running around with Comstock? How'd she get her pinky finger back? It's a lot of dissect.

It's been a bit since I played it myself... actually it was just last year, but yeah there was so much to take in it's hard to remember the details haha.

Let's see...
Spoiler:
Some theories are that in the first episode, that was the real Elizabeth from the main game who dies. Because of this, the next Elizabeth was the last one or something and she could no longer have the tearing abilities to go through time, thus she loses all her abilities and has her pinky finger back in episode 2.

Something... very weird like that. It's the one thing I have no idea about myself.

I also loved seeing how the technology was crossing over between both. Songbird was like the original Big Daddy concept.

It would be amazing to see the whole first game in Infinite's engine. I loved how bigger Rapture felt. But damn, did that setting and the insane splicers lend itself well to a stealth/horror approach. The atmosphere was amazing.

I beat Avernum: Escape From the Pit.

Damn good game if you like old-school RPGs, and one of the few I've finished. Great writing, worldbuilding, and quite a bit of openness while still having a story (though the big events of the story kick in later.)

Working periodically on Avernum 2: Crystal Souls, which so far is more of the same in a good way. It is more linear early on though.

A lot of what I've been playing is stuff that you don't really 'beat', though - Terraria again, Drox Operative, Payday 2, a bit of Beat Hazard.

I never beat games often, as I'm pretty much an arsehole at gaming.
The only thing I did complete at all was Super Mario Land, and I used a trillion savestates because the jumping physics are shite, probably on purporse so it wasn't to so easy. Good music though...

I liked the second one. Mechanics were good... everything really. I never played 3 though which had Wario in it.

I was close to beating SML2 last year but failed on the last level actually. I was also really close to beating it, too. Just a few pixels higher and I would have beat the game, as well.
