| Now, I've been a big fan of the Tekken series for a while now (though I still like DOA more) but Namco really screwed up when Tekken 4 came out. Sure, the graphics were amazing and they put in new and more features, but honestly it wasn't very satisfying. It felt as if though the finished product was rushed. The controls were a bit unresponsive and the overall gameplay felt...weakened.
But now, Tekken 5 seems to have revived the Tekken series from a slow downfall. Introducing three new characters as well as reintroducing some well known veteran Tekken fighters, Namco has really pushed their product to become top quality...or close to it. The whole minigame about Jin becoming a demon called Devil Within seems pretty cool. However, since it is...just a minigame, it seems as if though the gameplay wouldn't be as good as the main dish. So, what do you guys think about this? |

| I heard Tekken 5 is amazing.
It seems that the new sequels that have come out recently have been impressing. RE4, Msg3, DMC3, Xenosaga 2. And from I hear this is very, very good as well. I'm interested to see what people think, for I haven't played it......yet.  |

| Well I know you don't like IGN, but it was given a 9.3 by IGN. They said that Tekken 5 renewed the spark that could be found in Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament. Plus, it seems that there's an enormous load of playable characters, combining all the known characters of the Tekken Universe into one game. Wow...that's like..what...50 characters? | |||

| Wow that is alot.
I also heard it's got great customization like Vf4 Evo. Which is still (until I play Tekken 5) the best fighting game for ps2. |

| Ive also heard that it is utterly amazeing. The graphics are sposed to be at there prime and i heard the fighting sequance is a little changed. |
