=p

This is the thread dedicated to the wonderful SNES. Which supplied us with such great games such as SMW, MMX Series, Metroid, Link to the Past, and many, many more which I am too lazy to list. So converse about the wonders of the system, tell of your favorite games, any cheat you got, and make a lemon pie...

Super Nintendo has some of the games I still love today.

Other than the commons already listed there was Secret of Evermore, Super Double Dragon, Mortal Kombat 3, Super Valis 4 and the Donkey Kong Country Series.

I'd have to say that next to Playstation, SNES has the most games for any sytem made. I still remember what the very last game was made for it was. Donkey Kong Country 3.

My favorite system, period.

I own a lot of SNES games also, and still buy quite a handful of games whenever I have the spare money. (Rare games too)

A few months ago I bought Megaman X2 for $40, and Final Fantasy III(VI) for $40 also. I'm a hardcore collective gamer, so what can I say?

I still need to buy Secret of Mana though.

And I own 2 copies of Zelda: Link to the Past, one is the Best Sellers edition, and the other is the original.

Other games I own that are worthy to mention:

Killer Instinct
Super Mario All Stars + World
Super Mario All Stars
Super Mario World
Super Mario Kart
Dr. Mario and Tetris
Lost Vikings
Super Ghouls and Ghost
F-Zero
Secret of Evermore
Super Metroid
Starfox
Earthworm Jim 2
Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, 3
Super R-Type
Super Street Fighter II
Super Adventure Island 2
Aladdin
Megaman X
Peacekeepers
Peices

I also used to have more, but there was a time in my life when I sold a lot of games.

Funny thing is a couple of games on that list, I had sold, and bought again. (Starfox is all that I can think of now, and I used to own Super Mario RPG)

Killer Instinct: One of my first five SNES games played. I loved that game. It's cool. I desperately want a MMX game for my SNES but I know of no one who has it and would sell it. There supposedly someone with MM2, that my cousin knows, but I never got around to bargaining with him. (If only it was MMX 2 =/)

SNES was truly an awsome system, I had all of the donkey kongs and marios. Zelda, and many others. I also had Final Fantasy, that was it for the titalt, lol. Also this one game i cant remeber the name but you could choose between a guy or girl to play as and u had to fight demons or whatever it was really good. But anywho I played my SNES so much that one day when i came home from school I was going to play SMW that when i put in the game and turned it on the system fried it self 2 or 3 spars shoot out of it followed my some smoke, it never worked again. I was truly sad about it... i cried then i got a Sega Genesis.

The SNES blew away my mind when I first laid eyes upon the graphics it achieved back then, mode 7, scaling and rotating, were just something not seen on a console in those days. It's just too bad it saw one Gradius game, but amazingly had 3 Parodius games.

Ah, yes. The system that gave us SMW, LttP, Kirby's Dream Course (I love that game), and more... too bad mine stopped working last year.

Oh, and Donkey Kong Country. One of the few games my mother would play - the others being Tetris Attack and Link to the Past. Good thing we had two controllers...

Yes, I'll never forget the time when I first played Donkey Kong Country.

Compared to Super Mario World, and other games, at the time the graphics just blew me away. The sprites appeared to be 3D, and the environments were completely and heavily detailed to a level that just amazed.

Yes, some of you may say "wtf" but at the time ... it was pretty impressive in my mind.

Super Mario Kart was a pretty sweet game, and I'd say I still like it more than Super Mario Kart 64, and a lot more than Double Dash.

But still, I would take the original F-Zero over Mario Kart anyday. I just loved the music, and the futuristic setting.

Then again, it didn't have a battle mode that rocked.

But F-Zero X did. Although it took a while, and all you could do is bash into your enemies until they overheated and blew up...but it was still fun seeing them go Kaboom.

True, F-Zero X was a good game, but I'm just for the classics.
