I came up with this because when I was first starting here, I had joined for the sole purpose of bothering Shaddow Karate, who is a classmate of mine... I figured since his name was Mark, I would come up with a pun that involved his name... So "X Marks the Spot" seemed the obvious choice... Of course now I don't really bother him... I'm more interested in actually posting now. Oh, and Spartan, I think the thread is about your username, not your real name... On that note, my real name is Ashton... Go ahead mock me if you will, I think my Mom saw the name in the credits of a movie and thought it sounded cool, so that's what she named me... | Actually Makura, your name means "pillow" as it is currently spelled. If you wanted to make your name mean darkness, you'd have to have 2 K's in your name -- Makkura.

Yes, you are indeed correct -- I should have looked up the information before replying to that. I've only seen "makkura" used for darkness, so I was a little confused. Xeogaming, Vizzed Board - The Politician. Originated here. Don't know exactly why I chose this, just thought it was kinda cool. And it was also during the time of the election, so that probably played a bit of a part.
Nihongo Freak Forums, Network Chaos - Electric Jesus. Mwaha. Electric is for the musical term. For electric guitar/rock and metal and stuff, and it also stands (I guess) for the techno genre, too. And the Jesus, well, it sorta states like "Jesus to the electric world". =/ Funky one. ACMLM's - Boomer. My first board. I didn't know what to come up with, so I went with a MMX boss, who also happens to be one of my favorites, Boomer Kuwanga. I didn't add the Kuwanga, becuase I didn't want it to be like a total ripped name. So I went with the shorter, Boomer.

| Well, my name is rather simple really
ElaraSiannodel - that was my original name when I started on Vizzed, and here as well actually. After awhile I just thought that it was too long, so I shortened it to Elara. Now, as for the meaning: Elara Siannodel is the name of one of my D&D characters that I am writing a novel about. I got the name Elara from the dictionary actually... she was a figure in Greek mythology; the mother of the giant Tityus by Zeus. Siannodel is an Elven last name from the Player's Handbook and it means Moonbrook. Elara is now also part of my Craft name. I know that on a few places you'll find me listed as either ElaraDreamstar or just Dreamstar as well. Dreamstar is another character of mine, kinda an original version of Elara. Elara Dreamstar is my full Craft name, which for those of you unfamiliar with the term, "Craft name" is a special name that Wiccans gain upon initiation to the religion, I think most other Pagan religions have some equivalent. Oh yeah, and my real name is Crystle. 
But yeah... why do I find it funny that Makura means both "pillow" and "total darkness"... speaking of which, now I am sleepy thinking about that. |

| My name when I first started this board was JavlinGhostwalker. Javlin was actually susposed to be Javelin but I spelled it wrong. The Ghostwalker part was a nickname I got in Middle school when me and a couple of my friends were shooting paintball. I would sneak up on them and they would never see me and I was so damn sneaky so thats how I got that.
