I'm currently setting up a site on this development thingy on lateralshift.net. There will be updates there but I will keep current here too. I've got about 1/5 of the tilesets together so maybe the castle can get a bit more evil. There are also now four maps, two main ones and two sub maps: - Xeogred's Castle - Jail Cells - Throne room - Plains Continuing from the original creators post, I think that story is great, and that will be used (maybe with some minor tweaks and adjustments). I MIGHT put a part for Jaques to get his dragon powers, like in a story of him, he fights the dragon and after killing it he gets dragon powers *End of Update Report* Also, just need to get an opinion... should I include a caterpilla script? so the characters follow the main one in the party? 2. I like the catapilla script. 3. For Jacque's dragon powers, me have writing idea. K. Here we go. Jacque is a Hlaf-Dragon, or a Rios. He took more after his mother, the human, so his powers were severly limited. He showed only a few characteristics of his dragonic heritage. But, The 3rd sword of Ecra has the power of Potential, that gives Jacque his new dragon powers. So, from that point on, every time he advances, he gains more mastery over his new powers. Can you make it so that he looks normal unitl he activates Dragon Pwr, which makes him look more dragonic? |

But the sword could give him more power, that he didn't get from the dragon. |

| well changing Jaques' character from non dragon to dragon isn't hard at all... i just make two characters, one dragon one not dragon. after he gets dragon powers i just change the player

Well, look like you got a couple of Power Desirer there, RYjet911... This seem more like a screwed story version going on. You know we should have a storyline like: - Kaijin was in jail for rebelling Xeogred's Plan for World Domination by planning a secret assassination. (The Royal Guard spoil his plan.) - While Kaijin isn't the good at Picklocking, someone manage to sneak into Kaijin and ask Kaijin what he would get in return for joining him. - Kaijin got nothing but the thief picklock the door anyway. He said he got everyone of his poor equipment, and took 3 of his own potions (but they will be used anyway.) - So the thief (don't say it was me. Name him after Fire Emblem 4, Deu.) and Kaijin try to escape, except only seeing a Sleeping Soldier on the way out. Eventually, Kaijin forget his sneaking skill and wake the the sleeping soldier. - This is where the thief is so useful. He have sleeping powder while Kaijin focus on kicking his ass. - They manage to get out and somehow, Deu prifer (already stole it.) a Wind Sword, a Lesser Element Sword for Kaijin to wield. - Now Deu told Kaijin that the next place they should go is to __________ villages to met a person who was said to have a dragon power. - So they go over there while fighting some few idiots, got in the village, fight some soldier holding Jaques, and Jaques have lost his Dragon Stone (hey, in Fire Emblem, they let you become a dragon.). So, in order to have Jaques get his Rios (I rather call it mamkutes since it sound like you got the idea of it.) or Dragon Power, he need a Dragon Stone and then become into Dragon. - Apparently, the only way to get a dragon stone is to fight a Dragon Guardian but Deu said that he knew the legend of how to fight the Dragon Guardian in ORDER to get the Dragon Stone, they need to see if Jaques could pass "The Test" (Which probably have too much multiple choice for the comedy going on.) . - And then some idiots soldier saw Jaques and Jaques think this is a test so he fight one-on-one this time. - Sadly, it wasn't a real test, and Jaques was reaward with the Dragon's soul anyway just for showing off. - So they go by the temple and saw the Politician saying something about the Weapon Of Mass Destruction (reliezing that this is just a story), he saw the party and laugh his ass off. (Well, his ass wasn't off yet.) So the Politician kick Kaijin butt but left the rest of them alone. - Then Jaques got his Dragon Power but he is completely weaken from it and the only way to maintain in a steady form is to get a Blessing from the Mamkutes named - Insert name here - Ugh, it seem long but as least it got a good storyline to it anyway. |

Not just two guards unless one of them need to report to Xeogred and that would make the gate shut down. (Maybe a timer might work.) Just don't make Kaijin in Jail because Xeogred wanted his power. It have to be opposite since why want for power when you can just do it already? |

Let's make something clear, Jaques is not, I repeat NOT dependeant on something for his dragon powers. He was transformed into a human with dragon skin, the ability to use fire, and wings. He needs nothing, and he is already like this. Jaques also only fights for the reward of doing what was right. He does not like killing, and only does it when he believes it neccesary. |

| What happened to my post? I made a post about how the game got trashed and i had lost about 2-3 months work.
Just to repost this: I have now been working on the XGRPG for sometime now. So while I was working on it, I clicked the save button and after saving about 5 seconds after my comp crashes, so I restarted it like I would normally. After restarting I went back to my game... WHAT THE F*** HAPPENED TO IT!?!?! It said some japanese nonsense probably meaning "Your file has become corrupted". These were roughly the statistics on how far i had gotten: Maps - 13% of all Party Information - 100% (GOD DAMN IT!) Battle testing - 100% (THE HARDEST PART FOR FU... sorry) Monsters - 55% Story in the Maps - 7% of all Other parts - 20% Overall this was about 15-20% of the game completed and it corrupts I'm probably going to restart it again, as it should probably take slightly less time.
