You have to be joking ... right?

A lot of those weren't even released outside of Japan, you have imports also?

I do know somebody who probably has more ... he even owns a Game and Watch, a few. It's a shame he never posts.
(DxEdge)

Well, my NES's ended up dying, and I sold them a long time ago ... I wish I didn't. But I have a few good games for the SNES, I'll list them here soon.

This is no joke, I had them all on the real consoles, but I sold them and got a lot of money. Now I play them on my comp with an emulator.
@Xeo: Yes, some of them are imports I got from friends which was outside of Germany. BTW: I can give you Secret Of Mana if you want.

Is it an NTSC version? (Secret of Mana)

Are you joking?

I do have a question though. Have you just held onto these games for so long? Or did you recently just start on a Collection quest or something?

I meant the ROM, because I sold all my games, you should read my post.
I started collecting when I was 3 years old and sold them when I was 14.

Ah, so a lot of them are roms.
Don't worry ... I have no problem getting roms, and I've beaten SoM, I'd just love to own the real thing.

Well all the games on my list are full born hard cartridges.

And I'm never selling them.

Megaman 5
Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, & 3
Lode Runner
Ninja Turtles 1, 2, & 3
King's Knight (awesome game might I add)

Kirby's Avalanche/Puyo
Killer Instinct
Some Basketball game
Some Not so known fighting game
Megaman X
Super Gameboy

I'm kicking myself cause I sold Super Mario RPG and Super Mario Allstars + World. Once I get out of the house, get a steady income, and a credit card, you guys will officially know me as a collector... I plan on buying games up the yingyang along with some other classic systems (and once I get a house if i ever get one, you'll damn well be sure that it has an arcade type room in it for my collection and some coinops...)

Same here, in fact I'd already say I've "somewhat" begun my collecting-phase, since over this past year, I slapped out $40 for Megaman X2, and Final Fantasy III, both each.

And there's one of those "Collection" stores here around my area, last time I was there, they were selling Genesis games for about $2 a piece, and I'm talking high quality games. I bought a very nice conditioned Vectorman 2, with the box, booklet, and everything, for $7. The Genesis itself was $15 (They had both the really old version with the switch that turned the system on and off rather than the button, but I went with the newer smaller version)

I know those are Genesis games, but yeah ... I'll probably be buying a bunch of SNES games too.

Never in my life though, have I seen Megaman X3 with my own eyes before me since I was like ... 10 years old, I'd pay like $70 for that game ... and then my X collection would complete.

The thing I really need though, is an NES. Sold both of mine a long time ago when they just died out ...

... What's worse? I freaking owned Blaster Master, and I sold it.

OF course I regret that one.

Yeah, the only place around here that sells classic games is our pawn shop... $5 a pop for NES no matter the game, and $8 for SNES and Genesis no matter the game, that's where I bought both Mario RPG and All Stars + World from, then I sold them on a garage sale. . Once I get a top loading NES, I'll start more on my NES collection, and I'm planning on buying or trading in some games to get some SNES games tomorrow... I'm thinking maybe Street Fighter II Turbo, and whatever else I can find that they have, I think I saw some other when I went in there the other day... for Genesis I'm gonna buy one off ebay along with a Sega CD and start my collection once I get that...

I knew it.

There really was another version of the NES that was released here in the US, right?

I swear, I remember there was an updated NES that came out at the end of it's time, and the controllers were somewhat similar to the SNES controllers, shape wise but still had the same basic 4 button layout.

I seriously hope this wasn't some kind of weird dream that I've remembered for years and years ... so yeah, I thought I was right about there being a "Different" kind of NES out there, it must be limited though, I've never actually seen one in stores.

Also ... man oh man was I freaking pissed here a few months ago. I went to Vintage Stock (the pawn / collection store), and they had a Sega CD, along with several games ... including Sonic CD. I was pretty upset at the time because I didn't have the money to get it right there, so I went back a few weeks, and yeah, it was clearly gone.

I'm afraid I will never see such a thing again in my lifetime.

What's worse?

Originally a long time ago, I owned a Genesis / Sega CD, along with Ecco the Dolphin, Sonic CD, and Jurassic Park for the Sega CD games, and several other Genesis games. Well, the N64 came out, and I was maybe 11 or 12, and wasn't too smart at the time. My family put up a garage sale, and so I went ahead and sold all of my Sega games and the Genesis / CD attached.

I wasn't around for the garage sale, so I let my mom handle the selling of my system.

She sold:
A Genesis / Sega CD, 2 controllers, 1 Super Pad controller, Sonic 2, S&K, Vectorman, Ristar, Earthworm Jim, Batman Returns, Jurassic Park CD, Ecco the Dolphin CD, Sonic CD.

... For 15, effing dollars.

And at the time, yes, I probably could have made a TON more money off of that kind of sale if I would have taken it to a store. But even so, I regret selling all of that. But for 15 dollars? Seriously, never let your mom, sell your videogame things.
