| As far as I know, people earn lucre according to quantity of posts, and I believe it should be more advanced.
Rather than make it so that people gain the same amount of lucre for each post/thread, make it so that the gain it based on how long the post is. I've seen this on many forums, and I believe it may work. |

| Well, here's the thing. It's possible to make long, meaningless posts. And it's possible to make short, meaningful posts. I've seen both extremes here numerous times. Also, what about the many times when Rogue copy-pastes an article into her posts in Current Events/Debate? She'd get more lucre for something that wasn't her work to begin with.

| It would be better off as we are right now. I mean, if everyone post 3 links to their pictures, we would might as well as call it 1000 Lucre for each link and I would be sticking rich as other people would too.
Not only that but Tamarin's right too. If everyone post a stupid spam that take up 10000 words, he or she would be cheating and we would have to stop meaningless lucre. Plus, I don't see the problem with having lucre each time you post. |

Look, Rogue... Or whatever you go by now... Tamarin is setting a point that he doesn't want to experience directly first. He is just stating a point of proof where "we" could show a possibility outcome of a certain event. If we alway do it first before consider the action side effect, most people would be taking advantage of the whole thing and we would be making ourselves look pretty stupid. So just take it easy, alright? Sometime, it is better to set a example and show a point of simulation of a event that people MAY do in their behavior toward to these type of rules. We do NOT mean to offend you in any way but your current up-to-date knowledge can show and effect on how everyone would response in a new behavior if they knew one way of gaining Lucre by doing what you did. Errr... I am just sleepy and my brain acting all freaky. I just think this is a bad idea. Period. |

| Considering the fact that I am the richest user on the board, and also don't use the lucre even though I did buy a few things, and I do contribute, and I write my stories, and I've lost my train of thought, why are we fighting about the structures of a fake money system when most people just make up the weapons and such they use in sim battles anyway?
And, to my understanding, you're given lucre on a per post basis, not a word-quantity of post basis. So, quit yer complainin' and post some good ol' crap, and you'll be rich beyond yer wildest dreams as well, ya damn whippersnappers. Maybe if you saved up lucre, like I do, you'd have lots of it. But why are we arguing about this? We might as well argue about monopoly money while we're at it. Richest and Poorest Users. Richest User: Zabuza with 105884 Lucre. | The Battle Arena is working ... somewhat (not for everyone).
I'm basically leaning on what the majority of you have said, it just doesn't seem needed. Besides this, there are other ways to gaining quantities of Lucre, such as the "Bring Members", the "Game Reviews", etc. But like Zabuza and others have said, if you just post and don't "worry" about your Lucre count, before you know it you'll be rich. I bought my Masamune through the Itemshop easily, and right now I myself can basically buy anything I want, while I still have good equipment. | Can I earn Lucre for telling people about the board? I converted Dark X, Steve the cat, and alot of people on the board...I know Steve (Cory) will be on this board alot, he lives...30 seconds from my house, not to mention hes done told people about this board, so yeah, people can deserve a little credit....
