| So is every here patient or not...as I got older my parents always say to be patient, because it always pays off. Well im starting to wonder if thats true or a bunch of shit head lies parents say to make you a good person. I've been patient long enough for many things...and im really starting to get pissed off for being patient...just the other day I waited 3 and a half hours on a friend to do something before we could talk again.
She said she would be back in a min. I waited thinking she would, but she didnt...I felt like a total idiot. She finally came back and apologized, so I forgave her. But its not just that. Im patient with many people but really I think they don't give a shit. So what are yalls opinions on being patient...does it get yall anywhere? Do yall like being patient? Does it really pay off? Or do you think its a bunch oh shit and dont care? |

| I personally feel that patience will get you what you want, yet being too patient can ruin your chances at things also.
Case in point, baseball. If you wait for your pitch sure you'll get a big hit, but not swinging at other pitches that are strikes will eventually strike you out. Sorry if that doesn't make sense. Patience has been good to me. I never longed to be in relationships, I always figured they'd come to me. And sure as hell one did, and I'm loving myself for waiting for her. |

| I was raised on that cliche, patience is a virtue. I never really believed it. But I realized as I got older, that yes it is a good thing occassionally to be patient.
I'm normally not patient. I can't sit still, I have to be doing a million things at once. Case in point, I'm singing along to my Phantom of the Opera CD, eating, & I have 8 webpages up, all for different websites. I think in relationships, etc., patience is a good thing. It's something everyone has to learn eventually, as much as we hate it. |

| I'm a very impatient person. Ask anyone that knows me. But when I have to be patient, when there's somethin important that won't actually come quickly and I can really focus on it then I can be very very patient.
I personally think Patience really depends on the situation. In some cases being patient is a bad thing, like your boat is sinking so you patiently sit on the deck and wait to be rescued. In that case patience will kill you. So yeah, it's a situational thing. |

Patience is not Hesitancy, patience is always a wise decision. patients means to wait for an opportunity and being willing to do what is needed to cause that opportunity to arise. and furthermore if you find that you have "run out of patience", then you werent and arent being patient at all....just waiting around impatiently |

| *smiles* I've always been patient. It's something I was taught the day I was born. =P
Patience is my way of bringing everything together. I wait it out and I reason with it while I'm waiting. I see something I don't like I wait to fix it.  Some times waiting can help. It's either that or continue to watch.
Ofcourse I've been known to see if other people can fix the problem not me. XD |
