Interesting Flight.

I was drawn into Chaos Magic due soley to the fact that i was born with "it".

To be completely honest, i've proven to be something of a telepath, empath, low-grade tekekinetic, and high-grade precognative. To put it simply..i am what damned near every television psychic claims to be. (by the way..if anyone claims to be able to fully control any type of "psychic" ability...laugh in their face. It would take decades to learn how to trigger the chemical/bio-electric shifts in the body/brain that cause precognative flashes or bouts of telepathy.)

I have the usual traits that go along with these things. I'm a very influencial person. Strong individuals show me respect without cause...weak simply shy away from me. Of course, it isn't just the quote-unquote "psychic" ability. I was born with a natural talent for most "lesser" magic (near instant effect rather than ritual). Especially where Air is concerned.

Wow... I'm not alone here that's good to know. I'm not proud of saying "I hear dead people." when it comes to ghosties in my house... heh... I think I'm talking too much.

I haven't had a lot of time to learn about Chaos magick, but I would like to learn a bit about it since the thought intrigues me.

I'm a weak empath myself, I have to be in the room or near the person to sense emotions off them, and I find that I am highly sensitive to anger and sadness (since both are powerful emotions). I don't know if I was born with my talents or not to be honest, since I don't remember a lot of my early childhood so I am not sure when I was first able to do that. I am also an energy channeler (at least that is my name for it), and I primarily use it for healing and protection magick.

I haven't really gotten to practice ritual magick since I still live at home (with the hypocrite Lutheran mother) and therefore don't really have the liberty to do so. I seem to have some minor talent for elemental magick, but I need to work on bringing it out more... my crowning achivement was making the rain and wind calm down during a horrible storm while driving though South Dakota two years ago.

Oh, and True... I thought I said before in some thread about me and the ghost thing. I can usually sense things like that as well. Makes working Shipwreck on the Queen Mary real fun!

Hmm.... I feel those around me because I happen to show that I am a sponge, and easily manipulated to those feelings around me. When someone's not in a good mood, I'm not in a good mood.

When my mom and sister are pmsing I'm holding it in. XD It feels like triple time for me.

I manage to keep my empathy under a good deal of control. I never did like the idea of being controlled by the emotions of those around me.

As for ghosts..heh. When i was a child i somehow managed to partially tap into a different..plane, i suppose. I constantly saw greyish "shadow" figures around my old home. Sitting..walking..even talking. I doubt they were simple energy imprints, since they often took note of my presence. After a while, other people around my house started mentioning them. It is because of that alone i know i wasn't going insane (mentioning them before i had let on i saw them. In fact, no one knew that i did until i was roughly 13).

Aside from that..well..there are the "visions" (really, "flashes"). They've diminished into dreams as i've aged, but as a small child...whoa. Imagine being 7 years old and watching a half-transparent man beat his wives head in with a baseball bat, then hearing that it happened across town on the news two days later. Yeah. Things like that happened a lot.

That's because little children really are able to see these things and the truth is that they have the capabilities along with the energies to see them. I remember walking into my apartment and looking around seeing all of the creatures that my mom and her friend called forth to make a spell after coming home from school. I was seven, I think, at the time.

Nice to know that I'm somewhat unique and that my views, while being skewed by the media and certain boards and other communities, are widely being ignored.

I live life knowing that the human race is inferior and that it will eventually cease to exist. Not in my generation, but eventually. I live life day to day not really caring about anything. Shit happens, you deal. That's all.

Sleep, eat, poop, drive, play videogames (at home), play videogames (at work), write, steal, create, destroy, whatever. It's just stuff to fill up our menial existences anyway. And, organized religion is such propaganda anyway. Always embraced by the weaker minded.

Why not try just doing what you want to do? Embracing the darker arts, or just outside the norm, and not doing it because you thinks it's cool, or you want to defy your parents. Unless being a sheep is your thing.

You're not being ignored Zabuza... oh, and I like the order you posted that stuff in, for some reason I laughed when I read 'steal'.

I do what I want, and not because it's cool or to rebel, and I really don't see myself as a sheep because if I don't think a part of it works, then I don't follow that part.

Born and raised Christian, surrounded entirely by a very very strict religious-rule-based family, relatives, and all.

It gets annoying, seriously.

Anyways, Christianity is fine for me. As for Church I have never really enjoyed it, I haven't been to Church for maybe almost a year now, I stopped going and only went Wednesday nights, but now I go to neither since my work schedule, but I don't feel I'm missing much. I got rather annoyed sitting there every Sunday, and listening to different pastors bash the United States, the Government, and how our World should be shaped and ruled. Is that supposed to be insightful? I thought I was going to be enlightened.

As I've argued before, and others have too, you can still be faithful and not go to church.

Then there's my 2nd religion, me. I believe in myself, I will disagree with beliefs and agree with them as I wish with my own free will and my own mind. I will change my beliefs, adapt to others, apply them to my life, and so on.

I don't believe there is a simple religion out there, that is 100% correct. Therefore, I would consider myself to be a loosely based Christian. Then again, I haven't even read the Bible outside of Genesis.

I've read the bible before, although I wasn't raised in any religion...

Could you imagine me as a preacher...

"And then God said to Jesus, 'Your Mom'."

Doesn't matter if you're religious or not I'd say, it's just if you're interested.

I have a friend who's brother is completely based on philosophy, and so on, but he's read a lot of "Holy Books" and stuff, to see what they're about and stuff.

Well, I wasn't raised religious either. My parents disagreed on religion-- my mother is Catholic, and my dad was Protestant.

Zabuza: if you think only the weak minded are drawn to religion then you obviously don't know enough religious people.

Some of the most intelligent people I know are extremely religious. I don't see why religion is seen as a weakness.

I personally believe that being commited to a religion shows strength. It may also show ignorance about the religion, but commiting to all the rules and what not that most religions put upon people shows that they have strong convictions at least.

It shows that people are too damned weak to face the most likely possibilities of life and the afterlife.

It shows that they NEED something to follow, some symbol to give them strength and hope.

It shows that they are incapable of believing in themselves as true human beings, and thus have to fight against that fact with the "aid" of some ficticious higher power.

That Darkness, is why I'm annoyed by those two words.... Repent and then there's thother word convert. I swear my grands annoyed the crap out of me with this prayer.

"We shall see a great conversion amongst the crowds, and you're going to be the cause Sarah. Amen.... Amen..."

Tell me why people think I can convert people to religious, let alone Christian views? I'm not bashing, I just hate the fact that people put a huge thing on MY shoulders.... I don't minister to people, because I'm not a bible beater.

I'm Catholic, not a very good one, temptation is a bitch.

I was aiming to save sex until after marriage and failed, I masterbate often, I swear frequently, etc.

Hell is waiting for me.

Here's my question...

If you believed you are saved and forgiven for your sins, why are you even worrying about going to hell because you sinned? You know you can always say "Lord I'm sorry..." Or "I messed up and I'm admitting to it..." So forth and so on...

Sorry... I just get real annoyed with the people who believe that you have to be saved back and forth...
