Wow I never noticed how much I really changed. I see myself respecting my father more and more each day. I mean he's awesome now. I also have noticed that I'm more of a person that stands a chance in life now. Everytime I stand up in JROTC and shout out what I'm supposed to I can literally feel the words go through my system. Call me stupid but I think I'm learning some stuff from this JROTC. I believe I am... I've gotten a lot stronger in life with the push ups and marching... Eh heh I messed up but I've gained some confidence after this class. I see that if I don't like something I see I'm supposed to do something about it. And now... I dunno what to do. I just want to continue to learn more about this type of stuff. lol. Wow I'm coming out of my shell... | |||

Yes, I've heard that things like that can be really positive life-changing experiences. You learn a lot from those things that you basically won't learn anywhere else such as disipline and such. I mean, we can all be disciplined, but not compared to when you go through things like JROTC and military and all that good stuffs.
It's kinda scary at times when you notice yourself changing before your very eyes. Just don't stare into the mirror for half an hour, cause you start thinking about things you don't really wanna. |

I spent over 2 years in JROTC in Highschool. Army ROTC actually. I loved it. I LOVED doing PT. (Physical Training for those that don't know.)
Rifle PT was expecially fun. I once had one of the TA's comment that I was the best he'd seen because I never once groaned or complained. I just did what I had to do and moved on. |
