Correct Sis. Earnest Hemingway wrote "A Farewell to Arms." Incidentally, Hemingway, in real life, during the German occupation of france was once thirsty. So he stole a German tank, drove it to his favorite bar and "liberated" it from the Germans at the end of their own cannon barrel. Ya gotta love a man like that.

It's Piers Anthony. I think the novel came after the movie which threw me off. The screen play was written by Philip K. Dick and the story was originally called, We can something for wholesale..I don't really remember. |
