Concept: Make use of the weapon that is provided for you against your opponent in a 'no magic' arena. With weapons ranging from swords to axes to maxes to daggers, fighters are forced to delve deep into weapon mechanics and physics without the usual aid of supernatural powers. Therefore, it is necessary to also incorporate weapon weight and size into mind when striking at an opponent. This tournament will measure not only your ability to manipulate and comprehend words but also to think critically in unique situations using different types of weapons. The implemention of the "No Armor" rule will also be made into effect to increase the challenge and fun factors of the fights. Participants: 1) drizzt do'urden 2) GuardianOni 3) CyroXero 4) Kaijin Surohm 5) Shuyin 6) Elara 7) Dark Silhouette 8) Xeios 9) Cairoi 10) Leon 11) Vulkar 12) Leviathan Roster: 1) drizzt do'urden vs. Leviathan 2) GuardianOni vs. Vulkar 3) Leon vs. Cyro Xero 4) Cairoi vs. Kaijin 5) Shuyin vs. Xeios 6) Dark Silhouette vs. Elara Available weapons for Round 1 that will be randomly distributed to each fight: Mace Pair of Gauntlets *Weapons are subjected to change. Sparda did you do that on purpose? Me vs. Shuyin, in round 1, just like the last tournament. That's one way to get even. And with a lack of supernatural skills, it will be a true judge of ability. | Actually, Xeios, i didn't purposefully put you two together. THe way the match ups were determined was by placing the person who signed up the earlierst with the person who signed up the latest. Drizzt signed up first, Leviathan signed up last. They were placed together. GuardianOni was second to sign up, vulkar was second to last. Etc.
Making each thread is very hard work since I must also provide a description for each weapon. Therefore, you can expect me to post 2 matchups per night. |

Oh don't worry Cyro and Drizzt, if they don't post, at least that's a guarenteee you'll progress to the second round. 
Anyway, I have to say though Drizzt, that the Sai's have an advantage. If you get cloxe, the spear won't be able to do anything against you. Wheras with mine, even if I get within proper range with my sword, Oni will be able to hit me whenever he feels like it with his Polearm. |

| The sai were actualy made to fight the bo staff. However a staff doesn't have a sharp point, so this should pan out in an interesting way.

| Sais against a spear. That does spell a little bit of trouble for you. However, I've already figured out a couple decent around that. It's your fight, so I can't tell you how to win. You just gotta think about it and come up with some strategies. |

| Actually it's easy, just examine the weapon, and strategies get into your mind easily.
Now what we really need is a hatchet vs long-spear match. I imagine that that would be fun, though I'd put the odds on the hatchet. |
