There it is. I'm looking forward to using this new character out. *Damten shoves his Lion's Claw into the ground and leans against the pole. Blinks his one eye, the other under his eyepatch, until he almost falls asleep. Waits and waits and waits...* |

ooc: No arena description? Guess I'll have to pick that.
ic: Alex stepped forward into his sunlight. At last, this was the first battle he'd fought that was actually in the daytime for a long time. He looked around. This place was a large forest, with much dry wood. A huge wild-fire would begin with the slightest mention of fire. Ourside of the forest, was a large city. the battle could easily progress to there. Alex would have to be careful. Were it night, Alex would be glowing blue, meaning that his negate armour was activated. However, at the moment then he appeared to be normal in the light forest. Alex continued forward, until he sensed heat, in the general shape of a humanoid. He walked forward to this person. This person should see that he had oragne hair, which glowed brightly in this daylight. He was also wearing a suit, and no sign of any weapons, except for a sword. "Hello, I believe you wished to fight?" |

OOC: Whoops. Forgot about the arena! Thats cool though, it's probably better that you chose it anyway.
ic: Damten had nodded off but awoke at the sound of somebody's voice. "Hm? A fight. Thats what I'm here for." His white coat had been buttoned up - being so close to a city, he didn't want to stand out too much by having whatever armor he had show. It was bad enough he had to carry around a spear and wear an eyepatch. He wasn't about to give up the chance of his first fight in a new land with some police officer. 'Just tell them you... cosplay... or whatever they call it here. That gives me reason enough for my looks' he continually told himself. He pulled the Lion's Claw from the ground and held it, the actual Claw pointing to the ground in front of his new enemy. Damten scratched at the hair that formed his sideburn-moustache connection "You're a youngster, you've still got color to your hair. I hope my style isn't too berserk for you. You seem to have gotten dressed up for a different occasion..." *he undoes the buttons to his white, fur lined coat, exposing his light armor* "I play it safe when in new places." After adjusting his thin white gloves, Damten smiles and readies his spear. It looks smaller in this world, like an average spear. No matter. He held the spear with both hands and challenged Alex to make the first move. "I've nigh killed Death itself. Its only fair to let you go first." |

"Death, is nothing more than a skeleton with a skythe. You face real fighters now."
Alex dream his sword, and there was a metallic shine coming from it. However, as it moved, it seemed to change, and yet if you examined it, you could see nothing. In fact, the sword almost looked like it was not even one thing. Alex swung it through the air, the sword so sharp that it almost cut through sounds itsself. This sword was made out of nanobots, each robot compressed by the atom, making it so that each one was the size of three atoms. These nanobots were also all lined up, to make a sharp blade. In fact, they were lined so wall, that there was but a single nanobot at the very point, and just one line of them making up the edge. So, as Alex moved this through the air, it hummed, as it created vibrations through the air, allowing most people to be able to hear it. This sword could cut through words, and most deffinitley though any spear. Alex Charge forward with his sword, and quickly executed three slashes, one at Damtem's neck, another and his legs, and finally one at his chest. "I have actually defeated death, and gained my own immortality." |

Damten had managed to bend backwards before the weapon could cut his neck, and, to no surprise for him but possibly his enemy, managed to block the attack for his legs. As for his chest, a new scar ran lightly over the previously unblemished shell.
"Death in my world..." he swung the Lion's Claw around and upwards into his enemy's chin, making sure it was the blunt edge and not the hook "is of more than bone and blade." he watched and began in his original position, both hands reaching towards each end of the Lions Claw, holding it in a defensive manner. He looked at Alex as he regained his composure from the attack. "Death is a Lion, and you've felt the blunt mercy his Claw." He took a dash and jabbed forward, punching the Claw into his enemies chest, knocking him back, but nothing more. He stood once again in his defensive pose. "And I've too defeated Death. I've tamed his very claws." |

ooc: Not entirely sure I understood your last attack, as it lloked like an auto-hit, so I'll just assuming you attacked my with the claw.
ic: Alex quickly swung his blade around and blocked the first attack toward his jaw, and allowed it to continue the swing to block the punch. "That fact that you have defeated death, only means that you have died before. However, I only fought him to defend another persons life." Alex stepped back, and concentrated, holding his sword tightly in one hand. Suddenly, his right hand began glowing blue, and a huge orb of energy shot out of it, landing 15 feet behind Damten. This orb would explode as soon as it reached it distination, with an explosion that reaches 25 feet before it begins to fail, and loses all of its force after 30 feet. Four other orbs were launched like this, one to each side of him, one in front of him, and one above him. All of these should start exactly 15 feet away from him, and all were launched in about one second. These were also made to explode simaltaeniously, with all of them intersecting, making it so that where Damten was standing, should have the full blast of all five orbs, when just one would be enough to kill and ordinary man. "I have felt his claws, and I fear they have gone blunt." |

Damten nearly laughed at the wit of his opponents last remark.
"We must be speaking of different manifestations of death. Where I am from, Death does not give you the chance to save someone elses life; most of the time, not even your own." He stood stock still when the blast came from all directions. Had he known what it was, he would have ran. Little magic is used in his homeland of Everywhereland - its use had died out long ago, and what few powers he knew of, he rarely used. But they were nothing like the blast that had hit him. He fell to one knee and held tight to the Lion's Claw, which he had placed claw first into the ground for support. The smoke cleared. The hair on the very top of his head was gone, but the back and sides were left. "Shame. It was bound to fall out soon anyway. I'm getting old, fellow. But death isn't at my door yet. I've led him to his own, and he sleeps in his den. It may be impossible to kill Death, but to ensue slumber to keep him from your soul... aye, my secret is out." After brushing himself off, Damten took a high swing, using both arms, at his opponents head. He didn't expect it to land, but he needed to be on the offensive once again. "For those like myself, Death isn't an agressive creature. No matter what happens, no matter how destroyed my body becomes, I am void of Death until I choose awaken it again. You've a chance to win, though, if I choose to succumb." He took a downward swing upon Alex's head after his other attack had barely missed. |

Alex swung his sword up, and blocked the first strike. "Immortal unless you give in? That hardly sounds like a fair fight." Alex quickly anged his sword, and knocked off the attack.
"Tell you what, if I do enough damage to ordinarily kill you, you resign. That would make this fairer. Or, perhaps, I could attempted to control you, and make you give in." Alex stood at the defensive again. "Either way, attack now." |

"Oh, you see it as everyone else does... eternal life is not a fair game at all. I have to live with every killing blow I recieve. The enemy may disable my body and tear out my heart - he may lop every limb from my body and tear off my head, but my body and soul will live on, feeling the pain forever, never dying, never numb..."
Damten stepped back. He shook his head. "You're the one at the advantage. You can die. Shall I show you the mercy of your worlds death?" He took at mad dash at Alex, swinging the Claw to and fro, attempting to block whatever hits came his way. 'We'll melee for now... I need a trick. Its a tricky world, and power alone won't do...' He thought to himself as he took diagonal swoops at his enemy. |

Alex moved his sword around quickly, blacking all of the attacks. Then, because Damten was so close, he chose to take advantage of the situation.
Alex quickly concentrated, still using his blade to block whatever attacks came his way. Suddenly, he thrust one of his hands forward, and fired a surge wave. Uses a form of telekinesis to tighten surrounding threads of torpid gravitational energy and snap them loose in a desired direction. The resulting waves of force can throw most people a considerable distance, more than likely causing great harm on them. This blast increases in size by 20 feet all around, per every one foot, and starts at five. Supposedly, Alex and Damten are about three feet away from each other, so the size of the blast must be a considerable amount, and it travels at about twenty feet per second. This means that Damten had 3/20 of a second to avoid this wave of force. "But you can die. You said so yourself." |
