Thanks to Syntax for telling me what to do.

Basically, you can see that to quote someone now, all you have to do is type in ['quote=(username/whatever']text here blah['/quote']

Instead of: <blockquote> <i> "originally posted by blauser" </i> <hr> text here <hr></blockquote>

Yeah, the old way needed like 50 tags for it to work, so it's just much nicer and easier to quote people now, and cleaner.

**blinks** So basically, the difference is that it shows who the people that you're quoting, are quoting?

I think I can see where Evo says it's smooshed together...I think. **gets dizzy** Like there it's quoting Elara, who quotes Evo, who quoted Syntax...This is definitely much easier though, if I quote someone, I do what Evo does sometimes and only quote part of it. It's easier to see the bracket that ends it rather than those tags and stuff. I've F*cked up many quotes before.

Considered making it not require a username, Xeo? Usually when I quote in the middle of a post, I don't bother with the usernames because we know who posted it, and on other boards I've seen with a quote function like this one, the name wasn't required.

I'm more than positive your Sim Battle board is setup exactly like this.

PHPBB boards are like that. The name is just for you to put in whatever after "Originally Posted By [X]". Besides, don't you usually use the quote button anyways?
