| I just recently got DOOM 3 colectors eddition for the Xbox and it comes with clasic dooms on it as extras. there pretty cool but i imagine there better for the pc. let me know what you think | |||

| The thing I don't like about those ports, is that they have the very very old midi music in the games. The Doom music was changed around so many times. I was just hoping they would've put in the more updated music in these ports.
But yeah, other than that it's just like the old PC versions. And they're great games. Classic fun. I still need to find Duke Nukem Total Meltdown though.  (Last edited by Xeo on 12-30-05 10:21 AM) |

Hmm... I wonder if they actually use the wad files for the XBox version on the disc? If you can rip the wad files from the XBox disc onto your PC then you would be able to play in an updated version and even in OpenGL thanks to Doom Engines like Doom Legacy and jDoom. I really think the music updates give it more flavor, but I do miss the old school versions  |

| I'm just glad they didn't "change" the music, like they did with Ultimate Doom for the PSX. They changed all the music to ambience, that was really just horrible and ruined the game. |
