Japanese live action Spiderman from 1978. It's so lovingly cheesy. It even tops most of the Godzilla movies to the point where it's almost unbearable.

According to Wikipedia, it's the first live-action show to implement mecha to fight larger villains. I somehow don't think that's true.

FYI, if the link doesn't work, since it's direct-linked, just comment about it and I'll get you a better link. I like this version since the fan-subber put in a bunch of random jokes in the subtitles in parts that couldn't be understood or aren't critical to the story.

That's fricken awsome, I havnt been able to watch the full thing yet but yet, I clicked on it at work and my co workers started watching it with me, then they made me email them the link to it so they could watch it at home.

Edit: I just got done watching the whole thing and now I want to watch more

this has to be my favorite part tho...

But really, why is there a giant robot? A cool find nonetheless, I love Spider-Man.

Your guess is as good as mine. While watching it, I wondered why they changed Spiderman's background so drastically and I looked it up. Marvel allowed them to use the character, but Toei made-up everything else.

yea the whole storyline was changed around, but I still think that it's a kick ass show, im going to go looking for more episodes. also some of the sub-titles made me Lol, you would just never think that they would say that.
