| Funny thing isnt it? Somone in the state of nebraska won the 365 million megaball lottery...but as of right now, the person is not found at the moment and hasnt claimed his prize...

"Hunt for $365m US lottery winner" One lottery player in the US state of Nebraska has scooped $365m (£210m), the largest jackpot in the game's history. Lottery operators in the US confirmed that just one winning ticket was sold for Saturday's draw, but said the winner had not yet come forward. The winner will be able to claim the money over 30 years, or take a single payment of $177m. Lottery officials were due to visit the retailer who sold the winning ticket on Sunday to check its authenticity. The winning ticket was sold in Lincoln, Nebraska. "We don't know if the winner knows yet," Nebraska lottery spokesman Brian Rockey told the Associated Press. Anticipation of the draw had prompted record ticket sales in participating states. Ticket sales in West Virginia reached 29 per second, operators said. The previous biggest lottery win was $363m, a jackpot shared between two winning tickets in 2000. | yeah, no one ever claims it right it away. they usually like to either, tell their family first and celebrate privately, or dont have time to check to see the numbers, or it was misplaced, or most likely, because you cant personally go there and claim the prize, lots of lawyers are involved and whatnot.
anyways... it's a shame california cant be involved in that game 
man... if i had that kinda money, i'd prob take the lump sum, just so i can invest it all right away, and get more interest. also because i cant wait 30 years -.-' |
