Got this albulm..as well as the movie ;;; Im extremely happy!
I was a pretty big fan of Pink for quite sometime now. My mother and father would listen to him when I was alot little, of course back then I diddnt understand what the hell he was saying, but now that im older, Im loving this band... Oh yeah, this is a double thread...Now im going to talk about the movie...And I bet alot of you are saying "Wow...there was a movie"? Damn straight, the animations and music scenes are absolutely beautiful...A true work of musical art...Made from the same artist who made heavy Metal back in the 1980's...so if your a fan of that im sure youll love it... But anyway, who else has the albulm as well as the movie? Edit: ok, im going to have to slow down on my posts...Typo Virus (Last edited by Sajin Gorotto on 02-19-06 06:26 PM) |

I have the album and I've seen the movie at a friends house a couple years back.
Its a pretty good album though a few songs are not all that worth listening to unless you want to understand the deepness in teh album. Such as Vera, bring the boys back home, and Stop. I don't really remember the movie expect that the songs were not in order |

Listened to the album on a roadtrip with Zoso to Phoenix. I liked it, as expected, though it was slower paced.
Always did prefer Pink's original version of "Another Brick in the Wall" as opposed to Korn's. |

Both versions are good, but if your interested in heavy metal...You just have to like both versions...
Alot of debates are sturred up about "What the wall is" alot of people think its the boarder of Germany being teared down (Or whatever country the wall was teared down from...I dont know my histoer good ) and then theres the "Consciounces wall"... I think its the wall from within your mind... |

Its not the berlin wall, its a mental wall. If you think its an actual wall, you clearly have not read deep enough into the lyrics.
Hell, even a slight glimps at the lyrics make no sense to it being the Berlin Wall. The Wall Analysis (Last edited by HoboConductor on 02-21-06 07:14 PM) |

Pop Quiz: If you ever heard of that song, what is the meaning of the song? And for a bonus, name all 4 people that are characterized in the song... |
