Here's why they didn't overtly mock scientology:
1) Tom Cruise has clout in Hollyweird. 2) Viacom owns Comedy Central. 3) Tom Cruise Had recently finished Mission Impossible 3. 4) The film studio that made MI3 owns Viacom 5) Old Tommy said that If Viacom doesn't pull the Scientology episode off Comedy Central, He won't advocate MI3, the lack of publicity could cost them millions. 6) The episode was pulled. 7) The creators couldn't satirize Scientology without consequences. So Scientology = Super Adventure Club! This is just a theory, but it's most likely. |

Scientology is retarded, I'm sorry. I'm 100% with Matt and Trey on this, he's just pissy because they made fun of his religion.
I haven't watched South Park in awhile, so I don't know if they've made fun of Wicca yet, but even if they have I'd watch it and laugh. And you make a good point THJ, and it's a good addition of the child molester thing... makes it funnier. |
