http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/
Boot Camp allows users of the new Intel based Macs to install Windows XP natively. I personally think Apple is just trying to shoot themselves in the foot and it makes me sad as a Mac user. :/ (Last edited by Jin on 04-05-06 05:52 PM) |

Why in the world would they do that?
That really doesn't make any sense. |

I have no idea to be honest with you..
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, there was an Operating System called OS/2.. And guess what? It had Windows binary compatibility. Which means it could runs Windows applications natively. Well, you'd think that would make the OS more popular, yeah? WRONG. It killed it. It killed it dead. And the scary fact of it all is.. they had more market share then than Apple does now. I fear for Apple if they keep making stupid mistakes like this. |

Eh, While that's plausable. That's hardly the reason.
From the response I've seen/heard. The people most likely to dual boot OSX with Windows of any sort are people who absolutely NEED a Windows app for their job but don't want two machines. I always hate sounding like a sour worry wart but eh.. |

You know when you select a program on the right and that wheel of programs pops up? I use that and play with it all the time... |
