| I had a thread called something like Movies everyone loves BUT you, so here's the vice to that versa.
There's gotta be some movie out there that you love, but most anyone else that you run into hates. I've come across this situation with many movies I like to talk about because I tend to like obscure films that most people ignore when they come out or are otherwise practically unknown and so on. So a few films off the top of my head: - Army of Darkness - Godzilla (most of them, they're just so cheesy. You gotta love them) - Shock Treatment - Willow - Hook I'll post more when I can think of them. |

Heck, I thought both Evil Dead movies were great too (people seem to talk about Army of Darkness and never mention Evil Dead). And yeah, I never had a problem with the Godzilla movies ... just the American one. It was just, weird. My list: - Jurassic Park: Maybe not everyone exactly hates this movie, but nobody talks about it. I talk about it like a pure classic, and it still remains as one of my ultimate favorite movies of all time. - Total Recall: Again, people don't hate this movie, but I thought it was far better than what most would say. Honestly that's all I can think of. |

| Too be honest, I've only seen Army of Darkness. I just can't find any of the earlier Evil Dead movies around here. But A.O.D. was awesome, and if anybody disagrees, I'll run them over. *sarcasm*
I so-so with Hook, but that's only because I have a difficult time enjoying PG movies. A few don't, a few do. |

| Many of my friends like Army of Darkness, but I've run into many more people who hate it. Weird.

Haha, V. I've been wanting to see Seven Brides for Seven Brothers for a while now and can't seem to find a place to rent it. Boo. While I was at my friend's house last night, she put in Popeye and I was all happy about it because as a kid I LOVED that movie. I was even planning on coming home to add that to my list since so many people hate that movie. But then about 30 or 40 minutes in I wanted to gouge my eyes out it was so... so... gah! Well let's see, other movies on my list, I guess: - Kung Fu Hustle (it's one of my favorite movies, but I know so many who hate it) - Sound of Music - The 5th Element - Minority Report - She's All That (yes, I know )

| I don't know how anyone here can hate Bruce Campbell movies - this is his hometown! I actually saw him a while back in the mall doing a promo for real estate! Yes, that's what he does here.... Real Estate....

Yeah, I haven't heard of anyone pointedly hating Princess Bride or Monty Python, and I absolutely love O Brother, Where Art Thou? 
Other films I like that I've heard of more people who hate it than like it: - Jabberwocky - Legend - The Star Wars Holiday Special - A Mighty Wind - Danny Deckchair - Jersey Girl (I love all of Kevin Smith's movie, J-Lo in them or not) - Cheech and Chong: Up in Smoke - Krippendorf's Tribe - Cutthroat Island (world's biggest bomb, that bankrupted Carolco Pictures, prolonging T3) - Natural Born Killers I'm sure there's more... I'll be back with them. |

Tons of people don't like the movies that I do here, except for a handful of my friends. I only know like 3 people who actually like the Princess Bride! That movie's the best! And Drizzt and Kaijin are the only ones who really like Monty Python anything.... And spaceballs rulz. |
