Well, its Sunday night, Stressed out of my petty soul because my counselor called me early this morning telling me I have to do a speech in front of the whole student body about my experience with the Performance Learning Center was...

Basicially im trying to enter this in a different approach, instead of my experience, I want to explain the changes I endured while I was a Senior student...Right now I only have this...

Speech Begins

Motivation is what drives us in life to live in this world. To become successful is our main fuel to live on. Being successful is a goal that motivates us during each step of our daily lives. And becomming successful takes the time and motivation everyone works at everyday.

As my road in life entered highschool. I endured many hardships along the way, Peer pressure, bullying, becoming partial Deaf, and even countless hours of worrying about the next test my teachers was assigning to me. These things killed my motivation to learn in the hard roads of high school. For awhile in time I would sit in classrooms not motivated to learn, I was stressed about everything, and I was always at the hard-end of learning. There would be many times I would sit alone in my room thinking about how hard the road ahead of me would be, chilling me to the bone, and not being able to sleep at night worrying about how my future was going to be.

My Eleventh grade year ended terriably. The stress built up the the point of me breaking my hand due to anger and was the biggest mistake of my life. However what grew from this mistake became the biggest oppertunity that arose in front of me, and was also the greatest second chance. That second chance was the Performance Learning Center.

Doing major amounts of research, I learned that this school would become what will be the foundation of my pathway in life, and my second chance on regaining my motivation to become what I so longed for...

I wanted to always make something of my life. To become someone to lean on, to become something to be proud of, to become someone you know to rely on, to become a blessing into someone's life, and to become someone who will be reckognized in this world as a success! To share with everyone that I have trailed high-waters and through heavy burdens, into cold seas and gasping winds, and a light shown in the darkest of pits...

So far, thats all I have

I know im missing alot here...I need to end this somehow...And seriously, im kinda scared on how I should end it...I would put this in the story realm, but its not really a story....

Also, I kinda want your imputs on Ideas and what you think of this speech so far....

Edit- Ok, I finished it, and wow, I cant believe im crying....

Finishing off....

The staff at The Performance Learning center helped achieve my lost motivation and helped push me to become successful once again. It was'nt an easy path to endure seen how I was pushed to my limits, but those pushs helped to acquire my main goal in life.

Mr. Yielding: His posture in teaching and his expansive vocabulary wanted me to the learn the words that no one else understood. He was the logical attitude I wanted to be.

Mr. Marino: With his...perculiar personality, so to speak, he made learning a fun thing to experience. And with his random moments, he helped me relax and helped me to gain faith that "I can achieve my goal!"

Mrs. Kendall: A kindered teacher with a heart of gold. She cared for her students like they were her own children. I always longed for a teacher like her since I left kindergarden! With her politeness, I was glad to present a presentation in her classes!

Mrs. Pool: With her aid with 'one-on-one' teaching, She made math classes a breese.

Mr. Ward: A supportative teacher who pushes students with his buisness lessons and presentations. He was a man who enjoyed teaching, and wanted to see something he was teaching to the generation he was teaching to!

All of the teachers had one thing in common, and that was care for the students. Not one single teacher had a doubt in any of the students, thus held on to them, and tought them everything needed to know!

Rest assured, they have helped me regain my confidence and motivation to become successful in life. Thanks to everyone at the Performance Learning Center, I can make my loving mother smile, knowing that her son pressed on to become something of himself. A young boy who grew up to become his dream, a teenage who grew out of hard times, and a young adult in tears writing this speech. Thanks to you, I have made her proud...

Finish

What do you think?

Good speech. It's well written and gets the point across. I have to say one thing though....:

I'm really glad that I don't have to do this for school. I hate public speaking and I fuck up every time I do so. It's horrible. I try to lighten up the crowd with a joke, but if there's no immediate recognition I'm basically screwed for the whole remainder of the speech. I really don't like people. But good work, did you get extremely nervous or anything like that?
