I call it the Metal theme. You can download it here. Everything is included. You just need to upload everything and add it to PMA so everyone can use it. Please do add it. If there are any color problems (i.e. too bright, too dark, etc.), change them if you wish. I may make a New Poll image later. I previewed the theme, so everything should be okay. The only thing that wasn't working for me was the banner. I'm not sure if it'll work here, but hopefully it will. I have some odd codes on my board, so that's probably why it wasn't working when I previewed it. If it doesn't work, please find the issue and fix it.

Anyways, I know that's a lot over a theme, but I just want it to be perfect. Enjoy!

I downloaded it and looked at as much as I could...which isn't much. Is there anyway we can preview it, before Xeo uses it, if he does?

The banner looks amazing, did you do that yourself? The theme is alright, not too keen on the grey, but that's just me. Nice job

I did make the banner myself. I made a thread about it which you can find here. Overall, the theme didn't come out as well as I had hoped, and I may redo some of it later.

Specific comments:

The table background for the banner area leaves the links almost invisible.

Table background for forumd escription/who made last post in the forum looks really ugly with certain name colors (including the N/A Normal User color).

Link color text doesn't stand out enough on category backgrounds (though it's better than around the banner)


Due to the name colors, any background that might have someone's username on it would probably be better off dark.

I noticed. The username colors are different on my board and they worked well there, so it's the transition that didn't really work out too well. I'll fix that.

That seemed to be the biggest problem with this. I couldn't seem to get a good color for the link and the category background, so I just left it how it was.

Do you mean the usernames being darker or the tables being darker? I can fix the tables, but I can't fix the username colors.

Expect fixes for these things soon.

As far as the link thing, you may want to consider a bit more uniformity in the colors, since you're sticking purely with greys. Alternately, maybe you could give the links a bluish silver color so they stand out better against the gray?

I originally tried to do a greenish color, but it wasn't looking too well at the top. I'm gonna work on that a little if I get time tonight. I may end up redoing most of the theme. I don't really want to, but if it'll make it look better, I will.

Its like, 1% PHP. Schemes are basically messing with CSS attributes. And some photoshop skills I guess if you want to get fancy. For example, here's the Bowser scheme:
