Played it. Beat it. Loved it.

Not as good as Symphony of the Night in my opinion, but overall it's one of my favorite CV's. The only bad thing is that it's quite short, and rather simple compared to SoTN and other CV's. You won't find yourself actually searching for hidden rooms or anything. The music is oustanding for that game. The replay value is very high, as you can go through the game with a New Game + feature, as other characters, and there's Boss Rush mode, Sound Test Mode, and plenty of other things to unlock. Definintely one of the better DS games currently out there. I'd probably give it a 4.5 out of 5. Edit: And yeah, the art style kind of threw me off. It's pretty akward looking at the box art for this game, then looking at some other CV game. DoS is definitely more anime-ish than dark (like JL said). It turns out by pressing A+Start at the start of ThunderForce IV, you can get into the options menu.
