My first vote is Mario Kart DS. Online, and in magazines, this game has gotten nothing but quality A reviews, and owning the game I can say it is incredibly good.

A friend of mine has Mario and Luigi Partners and Time and says it's really good also. I guess if you've played the first one for the GBA, and enjoyed it, go for this one. Sonic Rush isn't bad either, but I can't stand the music. (makes me think of "Peanut Butter Jelly Time") You can't go wrong with Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow either. Yeah, I'm not a 3D CV fan myself. And it's true I've heard tons of people say this is even worse than Lament.

Funny thing is, is that I really enjoyed Castlevania 64. Even though it was 3D, and pretty weird, I thought it was a great game. But yeah, being a huge sidescrolling fan, I've always favored the old formula for CV games, and always will. I might pick this game up or Lament when they're dirt cheap, but for now they just don't interest me. I'm waiting for the Harmony of Dissonance + Aria of Sorrow Double Pack. Other than that, I guess if you like having a "Duck Tape" mod which makes every gun have a flashlight on them, and like the mouse and keyboard more than a controller, then yes. I own the Xbox version myself and don't see anything wrong with it.

The thing I don't like about those ports, is that they have the very very old midi music in the games. The Doom music was changed around so many times. I was just hoping they would've put in the more updated music in these ports.

I'm just glad they didn't "change" the music, like they did with Ultimate Doom for the PSX. They changed all the music to ambience, that was really just horrible and ruined the game. |

The Red9 actually gets to 6.5, unless the PS2 version is different.

The Matilda you don't get until you beat the game. The Blacktail is probably your best choice, if it's your first time playing. It doesn't take up nearly as much space as the Red9 would (with the stock for it also), it's maxed out reloading speed is insane, it'll be able to carry ammo in the 30's, damage gets to somewhere around 4, and it's just overall a great pistol. So, because of space, you should go with the Blacktail. Only takes up 4 blocks, while the Red9 and it's Stock is like, 9 or something. The Red9 is easily more powerful, but not as fast. And where are you in the game? I honestly thought the TMP was great, especially for some bosses.

Queensryche, They're now one of my all time favorite bands. For awhile, I thought they were great, but nothing "incredible". I've had their Empire album for quite some time, but this Christmas my dad and sister got me their Greatest Hits album. I was so impressed by their first dozen songs, that were on their earlier albums, I had to buy some of them. So I bought "Queensryche EP (Remastered original with tons of bonus tracks from a live Tokyo Show), and "Operation Mindcrime".

The albums after Empire, I don't really like at all. Their style just changed too drastically, but their style was also way diffferent before Empire, more Progressive. Queensryche EP almost sounds like Iron Maiden. They're faster, heavier, there's solo's, and Geoff Tate does a perfect job with the vocals (easily one of my favorite vocalists next to Kai Hansen). So, if you're into Progressive / Power Metal, I'd suggest checking Queensrcyhe out if you haven't yet. Keep the TMP. In my opinion, it's the 2nd best weapon to use agains't enemies with shields next to the shotgun (you'll be seeing them soon).

Fully upgraded, it's pretty good. Does around 3 damage, 250 capacity, fast reloading, etc. PS: The Castle is when the game gets real good in my opinion.
