I dunno man, the English dub in the series was horrible and part of why I hated the series so much up until last summer. I rewatched it in Japanese and Shinji was actually tolerable, lol. But maybe they sound a lot in the new movies. |

Yeah, it seems really hard to cater to the fans while still retaining a look you can ... take seriously I guess. Perhaps this suit is just a bit too "bright", kind of like Superman's as you said. I'm all for classic designs and kind of hate when they're really modernized, but yeah. Guess it's just hard to find a middle ground, for most and me personally. |

Basically I hate wrestling thesedays, alright that's a strong word... but I don't watch it anymore. That said I hear from some people it's been a lot better these past few years than the mid 2000's, post-attitude era. I'm hearing the WWE is finally getting some new good talent out, young guys making their stands, etc. The Rock is one of my all time favorites, I love the guy to death and loved his recent promos (some friends linked me to vids of these parts). Even if he is kind of coming in to school the new talent, I figured it'd be a dumb move for the WWE to have him kick everyones ass. Because he's not really back and he's not that old, but still last generation with the likes of Austin and all that. So it sounds like they just had the Rock, whom is awesome but not rightfully ever returning probably, bitch slap all their new talent and what they've been working to build up these last few years. Doesn't really make sense why'd they would do this to me. They should have just had him be the host and that was that. I love the classics but I agree with some of my friends still into wrestling, that some of these old guys just have to go and move on to let new faces come in. It doesn't sound like as big of an issue with the WWE than TNA though. Watching recent promos of Hogan or Flair especially, it's like you're just hoping they don't have a stroke or something. It's embarrassing and really painful to watch honestly. I've heard TNA sucks in general though.

Got a weird job working for a company under Lowe's for the next few months, so I'm adjusting to a new schedule and have been a little busy lately. Once I'm really in the groove I'll probably look for a second job to get more hours/money.

Finally! Money, I've been pretty stressed and dealing with a lot of anxiety for a year so I think this'll help a lot. It just sucks that I started early April and the pay dates are two weeks ahead of what you work, my last jobs were just one week, so I've literally been working on and off all month but don't get my first check until the 27th. It can't come soon enough.

And is working at Olive Garden beyond stupid customers/employee's technically pretty easy? Reminds me of Jiffy Lube, it was a really easy job but after three years of dealing with pissed off customers (who wants to get their oil changed?) daily and really worthless employee's, yeah it really got to me after awhile.

Been meaning to watch both of those... I've heard the Eden of the East director is the guy that did GITS Stand Alone Complex (AWESOME) and loved the Birdy OVA, gotta check out Decode sometime. Birdy is badass. |
If you haven't Bit, check out Iria and Bubblegum Crisis. The old Birdy OVA kind of reminded me of that stuff, hot chicks kicking ass, sci-fi, etc lol.

Shit is about to hit the fan from my goddamn uppercuts. My car is overheating again. This has been an ongoing issue for the last several years even after getting a new radiator put in, all new hoses, constantly checking the fluids more than anyone ever should, a new fan (two set fan in my engine, one broke awhile ago). I swear I've probably spent like 3-4k over the last few years fixing up this fucking 1996 Acura and I'm about ready to drive it off a cliff. It's driving funny again already, it still needs two new tires after I replaced the front two late last year, and now these other issues pop up. I've been out of work for months and right after getting my first check from my new job, the very next day half of it is already gone on filling up on gas and having to work out a deal with a dept collector from some dept that I apparently racked up from a Chiropractor back in 2008... I'm gonna have to call them themselves to give them hell about never giving me any kind of damn notifications about that or anything in these last three years. My car was falling apart last October before my birthday. I had a surgery done on a surprise hernia late October after my birthday. Three people I knew via extended family and friends died this week. I've had major anxiety/stress building up for a year new and finally got on some medications that are helping, but holy shit buckets. I need a fucking break.

It's funny how much of a legacy Jason Frank's had ever since then. That video was awesome. I heard he helped produce some of the later shows and had some involvement or something too, but don't quote me on that.
