Like Cairoi mentioned, a minor in psychology would be helpful. I think you'd really enjoy psychology, too. I hear it's a really fun subject, although challenging. I want to take it eventually. I also said a major in Criminal Justice. They're (people hiring you) going to look for people that know their stuff. THe more training/knowlege you have in that field, the better, me thinks? I don't know exactly how it works over there, but that's my input.  |

| I think about half of us understood that you have not yet done this.
Like I was saying, Xero, I don't see anything wrog with it. And as I also mentioned, and you mentioned it would make you much more attracted to her. My fiance told me stuff he did when he was younger, (I mean, like 10) and I found it really attractive... I dunno. I know I have a lot of weird sexual opinions, so it may not be best to ask me.

| Geeogree, it's about taking someone's RIGHTS away.
I deeply love my fiance. I would get married in a heartbeat if I could have an insta-perrfect wedding. But if someone told me that I couldn't get married, it wouldn't be recognized as a legal bond, I'd be fucking pissed. People get married all the time for other things, religion, money, whatever. But NO ONE should have any of their rights taken away because of any one difference from any other human being. You're looking at it the wrong way. "1%" as oopsed to "2 million people" or whatever the actual number is. Not everyone wants to get married, gay or not, but those that do want to get married should not be stopped. If you want to make a religious ceremony out of your marriage, then fine, let it be spiritual. But I ca assure you, I, with all my heart, want to get married, but I can garantee you that it will be without God. I don't believe in Him, and I don't think I ever will. Marriage NOW is about a bond, not about a belief. If you followed the Bible or any Holy Text word for word, you'd life a very dull life. |

| Well. For those of you who DON'T know (I can't immagine anyone not knowing by now) I've been engaged for about a year now. Pregnant for about 7 months. Sice almost the very beginning of our relationship, my fiance (Ryan) has known that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me.
I want to spend the rest of my life with him too, and we both really want to get married.... But... I'm the type of girl that really REALLY wants a very nice, impressive wedding. I want to design my own dress, I want lots of flowers and all that jazz, I want it outdoors, next to a river... And my fiance says he wants what I want (lol, not that I'd listen ayway Just messsin').
But we both want to get married soon. I'm torn. I want to be married soon, but I want to have my son, lose all my pregnancy weight, and have enough money to spend on the wedding. So as you can immagine, I wasn't expecting my wedding until about 2008. But lately, my fiance and I have felt this pull to be together. We know our love is strong enough to last without those silly papers declaring it legal... but.... it seems that with my pregnancy advancing, we both have the stronger urge to be together (legally and otherwise) and start our family, get a house, all that good stuff. Please don't be rude here, as I know some of you are notorious of being. I know some of you don't belive in sex before marriage, but that's not what I'm asking. I would honestly appreciate your opinion on this. I can wait. So can he. But... I want to call him my husband.... he wants to call me his wife... and that want is getting stronger. Help? |

| Oh, trust me, I don't want a big ceremony. LoL. Just close family and friends. Maybe some people online like Elara and Katie that can make it, if they can.
I just want my own dress, and a nice outdoorsy wedding. Hmm... I asked my mum about it a while ago, and she said the whole getting married through city hall or whatever, then having a ceremony after is really tacky because it's something that should only happen one time, if that makes any sense? |

Actually, it is. You may not like it, but this country doesn't have an assigned religion. Therefore, the people that reside here should not have to follow its rules. Many hetero couples get married when they don't believe in God, so why can't homosexuals? And going off that, why can't gay people have religion. I've known many hardcore Christians that do things out of Text from the Bible (tattoos, sex before marriage and whatnot). I've never met a gay Christian before, but then again, I've only met like three gay people. :/ |
